There are many ways to film a band. One is badly, another is well and another is downright brilliantly. We only do downright brilliantly. And as an example for you of both badly and brilliantly, here's one we did earlier. We turned up at the venue with a couple of cameras, we took out them both out and hit the switches to roll. Charlie Barnes then took to the stage and blew away the gathered masses. The footage you will see in this clip is split between the two cameras. One is from a Sharp Viewcam digital video recorder, the type Uncle Dave would probably use. The other is one of our Canon XL1 cameras. The difference between the two is as different as the Night & Day Cafe Charlie was performing at, and while Charlie's performance is superb, you'll see Uncle Dave's camera is anything but. You'll notice the colour definition is almost non-existent with Uncle Dave's can but with the cut, the true brilliance of Canon's XL1 (and we use two of them every time) brings the gig to life before your eyes.
